Beef and Ale casserole


Diced local beef slow cooked in dark ale, with an optional crisp garlic crust.

Cubes of locally reared beef combined with thinly sliced onions and garlic and cooked long and slow in a rich dark ale gravy. An optional crust of French bread soaked in garlic butter can be added which, when returned to the oven for 30 to 40 minutes, will give a lovely crispy crust.
