Somerset Rabbit Stew


Local rabbit slow cooked in a rich dark gravy with prunes, brandy and smoked bacon.

Locally caught wild rabbit cooked long and slow with prunes, red wine and a dash of brandy to make a wonderfully rich, dark casserole. There are carrots, celery and onions in the stew – so just add a dish of wild rice for an easy supper.
